The Kaimana Story

Hey! I’m Dani, founder of Kaimana Padel Camp.

My Padel journey has been short but swift, and extremely rewarding. Along the way, I've noticed that the vast majority of players are never able to make it past the intermediate level. This camp is based on the exact approach I took to avoid plateauing at the intermediate level, and it's also designed to help you take charge of your own growth.

I started late—37 years old, zero racket-sport background, nothing that screamed “future competitor.” But I fell in love with the sport, and I attacked it the only way I knew how: with curiosity, discipline, and a systematic, principles-based approach I had refined from learning countless other sports and skills.

The results have been extremely rewarding.

Within 6 months, I was winning tournaments against players with years of experience. Within a year, I was promoted to the second-highest division in my hometown—one step below the pros. And within two years, I won my first Open tournament in Canada.

I ended 2025 ranked as one of the Top 20 players in Canada and my goal for 2026 is to make it to the top 10.

My game keeps evolving because the method keeps working. No shortcuts. No fluff. Just clarity, principles, and intentional training.

The final spark for this camp came after my latest retreat with the finest coach I’ve had the opportunity to train under: Arian Gianassi.

Every time I train with Arian, he helps me unlock deep breakthroughs. Not by feeding me drills... but by teaching me how to understand the guiding principles behind the game.

Every time I train with Arian, I'm somehow able to unlock a new level in my game, which combined with my methodology for learning new skills, has allowed me to take charge of my own growth and keep progressing wherever I may be.

I came back to Canada fired up. I've seen so many intermediate players get stuck at a certain level and I want to change this. I want to help them grow the same way I have, by giving them the knowledge and a methodology that will help them also take charge of their own growth.

I designed Kaimana in a way that allows players to not only get inside my head and take the sicence-based knowledge I've accumulated regarding learning new skills, but also the methodology I've developed, and the ability to experience training with a world-class coach: Arian.

This is why Kaimana Padel Camp exists:

To help dedicated players take control of their own journey, and experience the same clarity, confidence, and explosive improvement that has made my Padel career so rewarding. After all, Padel is all about having fun. And the better we all get, the more fun we all have.

PS: In the future, this camp will mostly take place in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, where I'll combine Padel with surf, amazing food and lovely weather in order to get the full experience. But for the first instance of this camp, it'll take place at my home club: The Padel Zone in Edmonton, Canada.

Are we the right fit for each other?

We believe the right fit is everything. Whether you have questions or want to confirm that the program matches your level, we welcome your inquiry. And from our side, we'd like to make sure your skill level as well as commitment is compatible with the other attendants.

This is not a vacation. This is an intensive training and we need to make sure that every attendant is willing to put in the effort.
